Author Biography

Edna D. Copeland, PhD, is a child/clinical psychologist and the Director of Psychology for The Medical Center of Central Georgia's Institute for Developmental Medicine and Director of MCCG National Training Programs in Attention Deficit Disorders. She has taught in the Psychiatry Department of the Medical University of South Carolina and at Georgia State University. She is the author of several books and publications on the subject, including Attention Please! A Comprehensive Guide for Successfully Parenting Children with Attention Disorders and Hyperactivity and Attention Without Tension: A Teacher's Handbook on Attenton Disorders (ADHD and ADD).Steven C. Copps, MD, is a board-certified pediatrician who has served on the staff of the Gundersen Clinic/La Crosse Lutheran Hospital in La Crosse, Wisconsin and is now located in Georgia. He has received the American Academy of Pediatrics Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Health Care of Children in Wisconsin, the Arthur L. Turi Award for Outstanding Contribution to Disabled Children, and the Distinguished Alumni Award of the Univeristy of Wisconsin's School of Medicine for 1984.
